Matthew 9:35-38

Take-Home Truth: We need to see people differently, as Jesus does, in order to have compassion for them.

Christ-Connection: Christ is the example of the compassion for others we should model and the mission we should have in our lives.

How has an increased focus on Christ’s return encouraged you to flee from sin this past week?

Read Matthew 9:35-38 and discuss how Jesus sets the example of going on mission?
Discuss the metaphor change from sheep/shepherd to harvest/laborer in verses 36 and 37.

Phud gave us many definitions of harassed in verse 36. Who are the “harassed” in our world today?
Why is it difficult for us to have compassion for other people?
